LEADERS & PEOPLE 2020 Virtual Symposium was successfully held on August 31-September 1. We proudly hosted 2 keynote speeches, 39 technical presentations by young researchers and students from 14 institutions, and 4 roundtable discussion sessions with over 120 registered participants from academia, industry, government and communities within Canada and beyond!

We are very grateful to thank all the participants for attending the LEADERS & PEOPLE 2020 Virtual Symposium! Thanks to our keynote speakers, roundtable facilitators, student presenters, symposium attendees, and volunteers. Your presence and support make this event a great success!

Meanwhile, five students won the student awards. Congratulations to our student presentation winners!

PEOPLE Network:

1st place: Md Arifur Rahman (Memorial University)
Runner up (tie): Candice Chua (Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC)/University of British Columbia) and Abhishek Dutta (University of British Columbia)
