Environmental Systems Research Editors’ Choice 2025

Environmental Systems Research (ESR), the official journal of the PEOPLE Network, selected 15 articles for its 2025 Editors’ Choice collection, showcasing research across environmental science, emerging contaminants, water quality, climate change, sustainable technologies, and environmental management.

Published by Springer Nature and led by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Bing Chen of Memorial University of Newfoundland, ESR supports the PEOPLE Network’s mission to advance research, training, and collaboration on persistent, emerging, and organic pollutants in the environment.

The Editors’ Choice collection offers PEOPLE researchers, trainees, and collaborators an opportunity to explore selected research and consider ESR as a potential venue for sharing their findings.
